I have seen allot of people mention that FB is not effective anymore especially in business. Facebook is still one of the biggest online platforms with over 2.2 billion users worldwide. Facebook also owns Instagram and WhatsApp, and because they have been functioning longer than any other social media platform they have the most sophisticated algorithms due to the fact that they have had a long time to collect data from its users.
According to the World Bank Statistics South Africa has 55.9 million people, of which 29 million are internet users and 16 million of those are active on Facebook, this means that 55% of all internet users in this country use Facebook daily according to, You are social statistics.
This proves that Facebook is still alive and well, the only thing that has changed is their algorithms.
